Portugal

To attract potential foreign investors, Portugal runs a residence scheme that offers tax breaks to skilled professionals, while non-EU citizens who spend more than €500,000 ($560,000) on a property or create sufficient jobs can apply for a “golden visa”

The number of foreign residents registered in Portugal increased by more than 93,000 to a record of almost half a million. For new residents, Portugal provides tax exemption for 10 years. In accordance with the terms of the NHR (Non-Habitual Resident) program, most types of income that come from a foreign source or that are taxed in another country are exempt from Portuguese taxes for ten years. This is possible if you were in Portugal more than 183 days a year.
